Mock Sorbet/HomeMade Fruit Bars

1 cup frozen berries, fruit or mangos
1/2 cup to 1 cup orange juice

Place half juice in blender and add the fruit in, then add more liquid until fruit is blended very well.

Freeze or eat immediately!! or place in popsicle forms and enjoy a great summer treat!

Surprisingly Tender and Good For you Meatballs

1/2 pound lean ground turkey
1/2 pound lean ground beef
1 cup sourdough breadcrumbs made from dry crumbled Standish Farms Sourdough or Cracked Wheat
2T. ketchup
1T. lipton onion soup
1/4 onion diced finely
2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
1t. salt
1t. pepper


1. Mix all ingredients together well...let stand 5 minutes
2. Heat oven to 400
3. Make Tablespoon size meatballs and cook for 20 minutes...
4. Serve how you want in marinara, with LaChoy Sweet n Sour or a really good bbq.

Crockpot Creamy Chicken

10 chicken tenderloins trimmed
1 cup flour seasoned with 1T. salt 1T pepper 1t onion powder and 1t garlic powder 1t paprika
4T butter
2T olive oil
2 cans cream of mushroom mixed with 1 can of milk
1 onion
2 cups of mushrooms sliced

1. In a large saute pan add in 2 T butter and 1 T EVOO on medium
2. Saute sliced onions until soft and golden when done remove and add in sliced mushrooms and saute until soft and yummy and remove from pan.
3. Then add in more butter and EVOO and add the chicken dredged in flour and place in pan...cook until brown on both sides...then place in crockpot and pour over the soups mixed with milk and sauteed onion...place lid on and cook 4 hours on low.. could even add sauteed mushrooms that would be delish too! 4. Serve over noodles or mashed poatoes and enjoy!
